I have a 03 v 1130 with ported heads from Fitzgerald's, Jones stage 2 cams ,58mm body, open supper trap, stock injectors, what I do need is a map. the Dyno guys I am working with do not seem to have what it takes to put good numbers together. Using a super race tuner.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. thank you HDVMan

The dyno guy should be able to build the Calibration from a base starting point. If not, look somewhere else for a tune. The world is infested with dyno guys that have all the tools, yet fail to achieve the intended goal due to , usually lack of skill. I'm not sure on the super race tuner but if it's a late version, it's ability in % adjustment might not cut it. Even a simple online update, it takes what was a capable tuner and slams it down to limited EPA values. Regardless, the tuner should know what's going on.

I agree with you rbabos

here the deal, I work for the motor Co at a dealership in Fl. as a employee I receive a nice discount on the Dino and can keep tabs on my bike , having said that, They have not done a lot of work on V's at this dealership ,and seem to be at loss as how to proceed, the Maps that are in the archives are mostly for race tuners not a supper turner. I was hoping that so one would help me with a map to get these guys a since of good direction. I know its a reach but if anyone has a map I would greatly appreciate there input.

As others are saying, don't use "dyno guys" who can't do something as basic as the work you're having done. If you do, you'll have a set of pistons that look like this - probably even bigger problems elsewhere.

Props to them for admitting they don't know how to do the work. They at least deserve some credit for that - but why on earth do they have a dyno?

The lowest snakes are those who take your money and hand your bike back to you telling you it's good to go.

If you don't have somebody local who can do the work RIGHT, spend the extra $$ to ship it to one of the shops on here who can.

That will be MUCH MUCH less expensive in the long run.

Edit: Sorry, Missed post #3, but still, just be aware you are playing with FIRE - where saving a few bucks can cost thousands.
