I remember reading a post (not sure in this forum) about a guy who put a hard-bag on his luggage rack. I think there was also one in the main page picture (with the all the V-Rods) that was up before the rememberance photo.

Does anyone have any info on the bag, or links to the post I am referring to?

What about the weight issue for the bag listed above for the VRod luggage rack? Motor Co. recommends 10lbs...

Box and mounting plate don't weigh much. Think that HD is rather conservative with the 10 lb thing. Like Daniii, have had full T-Bag on it and am not worried.

The box comes with a mounting plate that easily attaches to the rack. The mounting plate actually extends behind the rack a ways so the lid can clear the backrest. It works, and looks decent. The box is removable with a push button, but it leaves the plate on the rack, which is not overy attractive. Easy to unscrew the base plate, however, and remove it.

Go to: http://www.giviusa.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=products&id=12&cat=monolockcases&catid=25&prodid=e280boxy

or to http:///www.givi.com

for more information. By the way it is the Monlock E350 Flow that Worm has. It will hold two full face helmets. If you have HD saddlebags the flow probably gets in the way of the lids. The Boxy does not. I tried a plain one that a Honda dealer had and it worked fine with my bags. Just not sure I want a scooter box on the bike. Even if it does match the leather like finish.
