I am looking for a low profile jack, not a lift table. I only have 3" of clearance under my bike so the jack height would need to be no greater than 3". Yeh I know I could drive it up on lumber to get more height, but was trying to avoid that. Any suggestions?

No clue, all I have seen online and around town require the wood workaround.

I have the red Craftsman one, and as pointed out I have two pieces of wood that are 2" thick I cut with 45* ends on them. And ride/push the bike up while the wife/friend gets the jack in place.

Dumb but cheap till I get a bigger garage (1 car ahhh) and a lift table.

Sorry I couldn't be of help.

I throw together a ramp and get the front wheel up a little to get a jack under it.

I don't have any problems getting mine on the jack :hidesbeh:

I use the "yellow" steel jack from Harbor Freight, it matches the bike :angeldev:

I have the red Craftsman and I just pick the bike up off the side stand and the jack goes under without an issue. Once stood up I can hold the bike with one hand and I am not King Kong either.

look up K&L jacks. even parts unlimited sells them. the are really low and very sturdy. they just dont have wheels on them to move the bike around. I use it all the time on my DX but its not lowered.
I dont know the measurement off hand amd not home for a few weeks.
It takes a 1" socket or wrench to raise and lower the jack.
I think this jack is sturdier then my yellow craftsmen jack.
