Kaz sold me his spare set of OEM shocks, but unfortunately he DROPPED one during the packing process.
I'm not sure of the performance difference between the PM's and OEM, but I am sure it's not $260 better, not to mention OEMs are aestically nicer looking.
Luckily his dealer can get him another one to replace the dropped dented one... He should have them shipped off to skullent by the end of the week, which means I should have them by the end of next week (1 Nov time frame).
Sounds like I might have some suspension expenses in my future. :icon_mrgr
It's interesting though, I only have about a 1/4 - 1/2" chicken strip on the rear and I've yet to scrape anything. Of course I run 4 on the rear preload and 5 with my 100 lb wife on the back. It could also be the way I ride. I learned to ride KR style 25 years ago before bikes had the kind of ground clearance they have now Surprised a few crotch rockets during Biketoberfest too :diablo:
I want to lower mine in the rear by having the factory shocks cut.The skullit.com sight will not work for me,says they have moved or something.I've tried other ISPs.Does anyone know where I could have a professional job done?
