Was thinking about lowering my 2008 D. I have bub 2-1 exhaust and I put on foreword controls. From what I have read I can lower it 1 inch fairly easy. Will this cause any issues riding? It it worth doing?

Many have stated the lowering block cause issues with handling . I has 12in progressives (1in lower then stock)on my 06 with no issues and now run the Arnotts real low for the most part when 1 up.

I thought stock was listed as a 12" shock and measures 12-1/2".

Don't lower it. Put an air ride on it. Giving up handling for looks defeats the purpose of owning a D.

My X is lowered and I love it. But my .02 is that if I had a D or R I wouldn't lower it. For an R I'd actually raise the rear end.
