Anybody reduce the idle speed on their V-Rod. Just got my 2006 VRSCR and it seems to idle a little high for my liking.

seems to idle around 1200 RPM. It was less noticeable before I think, because I just completed drilling the exhaust from details I picked up on this forum. Very good site for information.

Well drilling the exhaust will change the way it runs somewhat, but if you're saying that it's idling around 1200 you'll be fine.

Remember it' not a big twin, so if your looking for the potato, not going to happen

If I remember correct my '07 manual says that's about right for an R (about 50-100 RPMs higher than the other V's).
