Looking for Horizontal Side Mount License Plate for 08 VRSCAW

I have my bike in the shop getting worked on and cut the rear frame to allow for the custom fender kit to be installed.

This modification has made the current location for the license plate unusable and in my state (Michigan) a horizontal plate is required.

Does anyone have a recommendation for what they used that also has a light?

Is "bumping" ok on this forum?

Really could use some help...bike is almost done getting worked on and they need a horizontal plate that will work with an 08 vrod (something about the ones they carry not working right?)

Thanks for any and all help on what I should do to mount a horizontal plate to the left side of the bike.

Google search "v-rod horizontal license bracket". hundreds if not thousand of brackets to choose from.

Yes, bumping is allowed on the forum. It typically has the 24 hr rule.

If you want something specifically designed for the vrod, look up the muscle license plate bracket. If you want something custom, try j&p or Dennis kirk, or google.

Yes I know. And I said that I make the horizontal as well (there are no pictures on the site) but it is the same thing turned horizontal.

Here is the second generation of my design. Made 2, but only used one. Replaces the shock nut on the right side. Very clean and tucked up tight.

It utilizes a Custom Dynamics LED black powdercoated frame. The rest is powdercoated as well.

Depending on the spacers used, you may need to file off the coating where it mounts to the swingarm, but I don't think that is an issue with the AW models, only the narrow frame years.

I will take $100 shipped in the Con-US.
