Hi Experts,

I am finalizing between the two rear shocks. Please guide accordingly.
Things to consider:

Me: 220 lbs.
Bike has touring saddlebags and king trunk. so assuming another 40-50 lbs
2up rarely : Spouse 150 lbs
So overall fully loaded 400-420 lbs and solo 260 lbs.

i feel STD in legends should be able to handle the touring style

Little confused whether to get Heavy duty or Super heavy duty from progressive.

Thanks in advance for all the help and advise!

Would take the Legends over the Progressive any day. Another to consider is Hagon. Their shocks are hand built with springs and valving to suit your weights/riding etc. And a lot cheaper. They are based in the UK and have been building shocks for decades, so you may have import duties, but will still be cheaper.

So the revo A std bottomed out installed on vrod. Spoke to legends asked for heavy duty spring which is just 20 above standard and they said it won’t work because of the angle of vrod.

Any other models for vrod with bags and trunk
