I had a led taillight made just for me on my dx. Chris from retro made it for me. It's almost 3 years old. Before I buy docs light to match my other bike anybody know somebody that may could repair this one?
Doc's lights are awesome I have one but I like having something different so I would like to try to repair this one. thanks

Why do people act like they can actually get the taillight from HC? Some here have had them on order for almost a year, and have not even received a short email estimating a shipping date?

Need more details, replacing a diode could be simple or very tedious depending on how the unit is assembled. If it is pretty baisc you could do it yourself.

Contact Chris from Retro. He fixed a light I bought from him. He didn't reseal the lens but he fixed it none the less.

I can do it for ya... no problem. no costs either... but shipping is longer and more expensive back and forth. company's mostly wont fix things for free.

do the leds flash at vibrations? than it could just be one connection beeing loose..solder is a very weak bond for mechanical juctions. a little remelting at the spot would be a simple fix
also a few pics of what you think is broken would help..
