What Ron said... (Unfortunately) my bike has sat for months on-end several times over the past 5 years without ever seeing this issue. Definitely go over your cooling system and if that's the color coming out (and not from dirt on the pavement) I'd suggest a flush and fresh fluid.

Agree, coolant looks really old. On some bikes if the engine mounts are bad those hoses can be pinched off between the rear of the case and fuel tank. Make sure you can blow through both from the coolant bottle and the fuel tank. Both exit under the bike as in the pic. This would cause coolant to come out the fill plug and down the back, draining out of that oval hole under the bike rather then the end of the hose. Still, the main issue would seem to be the cap not holding pressure. If the cap is ok (replace it) the two other conditions that can cause over pressure , beyond rated cap pressure is the thermostat or a bad head gasket.
