A friend of mine said Harley make a guard, catcher, deflector, something that keeps the key from falling behind the hot as hell exhaust. Where can I find this? And what is it called.

Harley doesn't make it.There were 2 people,or small companys that did.
I can't remember who they were.Search around and you might find them and see if they are still being made.

Yea,that's one of them.Very expensive though.
I had one from a regular member here that was good looking.I sold it.
