Did a search on this issue, but nothing seems to match exactly. Been away for awhile and kept the bike's battery on a tender the whole time. Went to start her (2008 Night Rod) up and the alarm went off. OK, maybe the FOB's battery had drained too low. Replaced the battery and same result. Looked up the procedure for using the code and she started right up. Let her run for awhile then shut her down and tried again with the key FOB. Still won't work. Swapped batteries from the FOB for my other bike and she still won't recognize the FOB (battery works fine in FOB on other bike). Any suggestions?

Do you have a second FOB? if not --
Options.
1. Go to dealer and have them attempt to Re-mate the FOB to your bike. If failure then
2. Buy new FOB and then do step 1. Suggest buying two FOBs.
The FOB should not have detached itself from your bike but you never know. From what I recall reading the Dealer will install the FOBs serial number in the ECM. Up to two FOBs can be attached to the bike.
