Now if the weather will stop raining on us, I can go ride it :banghead:

I posted an initial picture in the VRSCDX forum but couldn't take any more pics until today. Got several new shots of the bike to show the paint better.

JE Illusions did the paint and aquired all the parts so I was able to keep riding while I waited. What do you think?

LOL, "Last week" try all spring.. I have lived here since '89 and never had a spring/summer this wet. It is just amazing how much rain we have gotten. Thinking about putting pontoons on my bike and a paddle wheel.. :D

Very NICE! The flames break just perfect against the blacked-out DX.

Planning to learn the "True-fire" with my air-brush. How many colors have been used here? Seems to me its 1 or 2(?).

Just love the way the Bar & shield is integrated in....

I'm really not sure to be honest on the technique.. I had Josh at JE Illusions do this. From what I saw, it was done in several layers and candy paints to get it to look like it does. I tell you what, every angle on the bike presents a little different look as the light hits it.. It is actually not easy to photograph and get the real effect, but it can be everything from black looking with a little flame effect to something more dramatic. At night, it is basically black still.
