Introducing the ITM HD1 ABS Flush Utility! Available now at:

www.infotechmercenary.com

Watch it in action here:

No more dealer visits, expensive DIY products, no laptops and no cd's/cd-rom drives required.

We sell a very low cost Android tablet for use with the product if you are an iPhone user. Otherwise any Android phone/tablet 6.0 and above works like a champ.

Pays for itself in one season!

I'm totally confused about this. I watched the video and it clearly connects to a bluetooth device somewhere during the process. AFAIK there is no bluetooth native to my 2011 VRSCF. It also requires WIFI? WHAT?

The website has zero information on this product other than that video and a link to buy.

Interesting idea but with all this in mind, this could be a hoax but really hope not.

No worries. This is 100% real (I'm the owner and developer).

On the website I show the cable and interface that you plug into the 4 pin diagnostic connector on your bike. That is what the app connects to via Bluetooth to run.

The wifi that I mention in the video is for the logon screen (i.e. licensing) to function.

I'm an engineer first and barely an artist/marketing guy second :).

At any rate, this IS the way to go for flushing your ABS equipped V-rod. Seriously easy to use, safe, and pays for itself in one season compared to going to the dealer. I made this as I didn't want to pay to flush my brakes (or the high prices for other electronic options) nor did I want to try other methods that are not safe or questionable.

Ask more questions (or call me!). I'm very proud of this product and I think you guys will love it.
Glad to see/read your response. A lot of us will be interested in this. I'm still confused a bit. The cable has a bluetooth device in it? As far as I can tell, all that's needed is that cable, an android phone and the app. If so, the BT device must be in that cable? Seems strange that it would need BT to connect to a device that's hard connected. I'm an IT engineer by trade, btw. I want to understand!

Several/many of us do flush our ABS brakes out using a method that requires double flushing I will do anything to avoid the dealer

The cable connects to your 4 pin diagnostic connector and the other end plugs into my BT interface.

I purposely chose the BT route (between phone and interface) as I didn't want to bother with weird mini cables to USB/etc.

Indeed it is as simple as an interface, cable, and your phone (or tablet from my site).

I send you a package with the cable/interface/instructions and you install the app on your phone (or use it pre-installed on the tablet if you choose that option on my site).

Then you simply follow the instructions in the app itself. Straight forward and you can flush (completely) your brake fluid every season.

I was talking with a friend yesterday about this and how it allows owners to not only skip the dealer for simple maintenance, but that it encourages annual brake fluid changing. At approximately $700 to replace the HCU I'd rather err on the side of caution and spend $5.00 on a bottle of DOT4 each season (and know the ABS is working) than go 2 years and hope it's "OK" according to the MOCO.

If anyone is in WA state (east side) I'll happily give a demo. I'm investigating going to a few shows as well as I'm working on several other apps that will work for the rest of the HD lineup plus cars as well.

Thx for the follow up! Love seeing this kind of thing.
I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to get the brake system flushed per the recall on my bike. Will definitely be interested for future DIY flushes. Great idea!
And when does the Ion Sensor anti knock unit come out ? Great product ! Thx

With enough interest I could be persuaded. I know a guy who knows a guy......but the time involved would be intense. If I ever go forced induction then I for sure would pursue it at least for my own use.....add another log to the bonfire.
Appreciate the bump. I haven't really been advertising this yet as I'm working on 2 more products all this month. Let's just say.....I am very busy right now.
