I cannot find anything in the service manual, so I figured I would ask....
I got the cover off of the right side below the airbox, and I have full visual access to the coolant reservoir. I am noticing that my cold coolant level is about an inch below the cold level line but the bike is on the side stand/kickstand leaning.
Should the coolant level be checked with the bike upright ?
It might be that I am just slightly low on coolant since the fluid is below the "cold level' line, BUT I am looking at this while the bike is on the kickstand.
Should the bike be upright to properly view the coolant level in the reservoir ? I cannot find anything in the service manual.
(I do know that oil level must be checked with bike in upright position.)
