found it funny that this tread popped up. had a couple of experiences this week.

1) sat night i was riding with a few friends and a guy i never met before that had a heritage. he asked me how i like my vrsca. told him i loved it and that he should test ride one. he responded that he test road a muscle, found it real snappy and fast but when you get to be his age you just need something slower.

2) happened earlier tonight. while i was paying for gas there was a couple and a friend of theirs standing around my bike. they were all staring at it pretty hard. i thought they maybe something happened to my ride for a minute but when i walked outside after paying for gas etc... they came up to me and said that is a really cool bike do you mind if we take some pictures with it. i let them take their pics, they thanked me and walked away with huge grins on their faces. i felt pretty cool for a few minutes.

almost everyone i talk with loves the vrod. the only negative (if you can call it that) experience i have ever had was a few weeks ago when i went to rawhide hd (old central south in olathe, ks) for a part and a sales guy started talking up bikes & riding and as soon as i mentioned i had a vrod he just said oh and then he started talking to another customer. i just chalked it up as he doesn't have a clue about the bikes he sells or is just a general all around d-bag. either way it didn't bother me. i know and love what my bike is and every time i ride it i love it a little bit more.
