I just purchased the V-TUV014 db killer insert for the Akrapovic 2-1 on my 2011 Muscle.
I can't find installation instructions anywhere - do you remove the 3 10mm hex key bolts from the end cap? (I couldn't budge mine, was worried I'd strip them) or do you have to remove the whole can?
Thanks for your help!

Welcome to 1130cc.
Yes, remove the hex key bolts. If they don`t move try give them some taps with a hammer after a good run. The end cap holds the db killer.

Remove the 3 screws on the end cap and swap out the baffle. That number isn't the correct baffle. The 3 in the pic are , left to right, Standard, V-TUV103, and V-TU104. I found the V-TUV103
while quieter did cause some tuning issues with reversion, so went back to standard. The V-tuv104 is actually a Yamaha part and very restrictive. Can't even imagine using that one.

Thanks for your replies. The part TUV014 is the only one I could find in stock that ships to Canada, from Fortnine. I was able to remove the 3 end cap screws today but it still isn’t clear to me what to do next. Is that because I have the wrong part?

Yes, you have the wrong part. If I recall, FortNine doesn't have it in stock. Google brings up a few options, such as > $60.62 Akrapovic Exhaust Noise Damper For S-Y17SO1-HBAV #228507
You really don't want the TUV104. I have one but way to restrictive. It's a Yamaha part that fits into the Akra, just like the others do. The TUV103 does tone the pipe down quite a bit and the one you need.

Recommends some use of anti seize / copper paste on the bolts when mounting.
