It's really pretty simple. The hardest part of the whole installation is hiding the thing. It took me about 20 minutes to install, and start engine. Upload the particular map for what you have on your bike, (k&n filter, screamin eagles ect...) then hook it up to your bike. Now if you have a notebook pc,you can install it and then upload the map. one end snap's into your stock pcm,and the other into the pcr111. believe me,the differance with the pcr111,is like night and day!! The throttle response is unbelievable. If you have any problem's,just go to www.powercommander.com,and you can view installation video's. I hope this help's you.

One word: ABUSIVE!! V-Man was right! Follow the instructions to the letter and watch the video. I must have spent close to an hour getting things to fit so I could get the side cover back on. I think the guy who installed the wiring harness on the bike knew I would be installing the PC and decided to make the harness a 1/4 inch shorter. The 2 service connectors that are loose must be pushed back in under the main harness just the way its shown in the instructions or you'll never get the 2 large connectors to fit under the side panel. I had to push pretty hard on the loose connectors and harnes to make room and I sure hope I didn't do any damage. Apparently there was no damage in the short term because the bike fired right up. Good luck, take your time and don't get pissed off. You'll make it work.
