If you have the IAC settings to high could this cause a lean condition at operating temperature?

IAC (idle air control) this is set by the ecm, it is not adjustable unless your talking about raising the idle with the race tuner. In that case you probably are pretty lean if your trying to idle the bike at 1800 rpm or so, the pipes would probably start to glow in just a few minutes.

Max, I am talking about the setting in the SERT, I raised the setting from 12 at operating temp to 16 and noticed my front cylinder started running leaner by about 1 point as measured with the wego

The front cylinder typically runs leaner than the rear, right?

Most stock maps are set with the rear richer then the front. I don't think it's as much the IAC being adjusted as it is the fact that the maps tend to be pretty lean in the rpm range that your trying to idle. The engines just don't spend much time at those rpms so they don't run it very rich there.
