I had one of those overpriced hunk of shiznits on my old Sporty. While they offer good performance with the right jetting in the carb, run well in the rain as well as dry weather (the rain/Hypercharger myth is just not true...had mine for 5 yrs), and looks pretty sweet on a traditional twin, the quality absolutely SUCKS! They are made as if they are disposable and "Furry Bacon" :rofl2: needs to address that issue. I spent nearly as much in replacement parts as I did for the Hypercharger. The quality is so bad on those things that I will no longer bother to even look at a "Furry Bacon" catalog. :hitfan:
I still don't see how or why someone would want one on a VRSC when you have the topless option. Not only that, if you ever rode a Sporty or traditional twin with the Hypercharger on it, you probably apreciate the clean and comfy ergonomics of the rod that much more! That Hyper-Bug-catcher used to dig into the right leg like a giant chigger!! :rofl2:

PS
I like what they did to the Buell with it. Looks pretty dang sweet!
