Hi Casey,

I spent 5 years, 2 months, 22 days, and 4 1/2 hours in Minot, ND. Brrrrrrr.....you get a short riding season up there. I too have an 03 with long slashers, power commander, and the K&M filter. I got about 1130 miles. You have any problems? My engine light comes on for a few seconds after I start it. Gonna take it to the HD dealer this weekend and have them look into it.

sospolice the light coming on for five seconds is a sign that it has a code in history. If you want to save time and check the code yourself you will find all the information here to check and read codes on your scoot. We aim to please.

sospolice to read codes it is very easy and is done with the use of the turn signals key and trip reset buttons. Here is a link that describes the exact procedure.

Then after you get the code here is all the codes listed so you will know exactly what happened. It also explains how to clear codes. I should add that if no code show up then you may have the phantom low voltage code that seems to appear often.

There is a LOT of sage advice here on our bike, even from the young crowd, like BikerTrash!! No age group has the corner on the market for good ideas! Fer sure, ya'know!
