I read all the posts in this area and decided to let you all know who I am.
I saw the Discovery program on the V-Rod and knew then that I wanted one. Just picked up a new 03 last monday (11/17). I have put 500 miles on it in a week, without going on any long trips (more that a tank of gas).
I live in the SF Bay area where the weather has been pretty cold (remember now, I live in California) and since my leathers have not shown up yet, so am I.
I think I am the OLD guy here - 61 - and very proud of not being an OLD guy ( but of course that is my own opinion - to which everyone is entitled)
