A heat gun might be a little bit of overkill since the "tins" are plastic.
A hair dryer is actually probably a better choice, but even that really isn't really required.
Just use some heavy-duty monofilament (solo, or after hitting the logo with the hair dryer for a bit) and slowly rock/pull it back and forth as you work your way through the adhesive.
WD-40 works surprisingly well to clean off the adhesive residue.
