I have ordered the Vance and Hines 2 into 1 exhaust (not the competition series) and read the online directions numerous times so I can be prepared when they arrive.
It seems straightforward enough with the exception of removing and reinstalling the pipes to the engine. From the pictures I have seen online it seems like a tight fit and since the new headers are one piece I can't quite figure out how I'm going to get them seated without scraping the engine.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Got the factory exhaust off tonight. Took me 2 1/2 hours so I didn't set any records but I am happy to report no scratches were encountered.
I did notice one thing though. There ain't no way in hell a torque wrench is gonna be able to be used on the exhaust flange nuts when I go to install the new exhaust. I know the torque values are pretty low so I guess I'll try to resist the urge to overtighten and try to get them evenly snugged down.
Now its just a waiting game for the new exhaust to arrive next week.
