went out to the shop to take the plastic lower belt guard off to copy it in aluminum so that both top and bottom could be polished, well got side tracked with another idea. i recently found a small sheet of stainless steel with a interesting almost diamond pattern stamped in it, well i`ve been trying to come up with some kind of use for it, well bam i decide to make a hose cover out of it. still undecided if i like it or not, its definately different, and does sparkle when the light hits it, so give me some feedback, keep it or toss it. ...plus easier to do, right? didn't have to take apart the hose? Now we just need to find a supplier for that material, and we could make our own...
nice job, BTW.

ok, I guess it stays on! this was pretty simple to do, but finding the material is the trick. i just found another piece last nite( in a dumpster at work). if anyone is interested in making one I`ll take a few pieces with me to Daytona and pass them out.
