Has anyone installed a Hogpro 240 kit with PM Wheels and Pulley? I have been having problems since March and just wondering if anyone else had problems with the PM stuff (specifically the pully) matching MOCO specs..

I have one for the Monaco wheels and its pretty much crap. I won't use it even after having it machined for the Harley bearing. If I can install the actual toothed cog from the Harley pulley I might give it another try. If not it will become a garage clock. I think it it just made to ride up to the corner bar and back.I have been having problems since March and just wondering if anyone else had problems with the PM stuff (specifically the pully) matching MOCO specs..
There is a bearing in the pulley that is smaller than the stock HD bearing. The problem is that in order to get the HD size bearing in the PM pulley you would need to machine the pulley hole wall recess by almost 1/4 inch. PM tells you to just use a spacer, but every spacer we have tried doesnt allow for the "teeth", if you will, of the backside of the pully to set nicely in the rubber compensator bowl gasket. The pulley has left/right wobble.RODent said:What is wrong with the pully?
That's the same problem I ran into. I even had some custom spacers made, but if you move the pulley into the wheel you mess up the belt alignment. The teeth that engage the cush drive are not as wide as the stock pulley adding to the sloppy engagement. Its just poorly designed. There is a bearing in the pulley that is smaller than the stock HD bearing.
