Hi from Scottsdale, AZ. I'm a new owner of a 2003 VRSCA. I believe it is stock and it has 10k miles. I suspect I'm like many here in that this is the only Harley I'd ever consider owning. I saw my first V-Rod back in 2002 while walking thru a parking lot. Let's just say it caught my eye so I had to check it out. I was not biking then so I didn't know anything about it. I suspected it was some custom and I was impressed and never forgot it. Some time later I was surprised to learn it was a production Harley. Two days ago I took the opportunity to satisfy my dream of adding my favorite model to my little collection (5 and holding). The forward controls are totally new to me but I think I can live with them. This thing has lots of power. It would be interesting to compare it to my 79 Honda CBX but alas I can't ride'em both at the same time. I'll be asking a few questions in the appropriate areas of the forum but for now I just wanted to say hi.

Thanks Knut. I knew about the mirrors and pegs but I thought the other stuff you listed was original. Still learning about the bike. Never even heard of the H-D P&A cat. Totally new to the Harley world.
