Has anyone have anything to say about this dealership good or bad ..

I will pick up my bike I order at Las Vegas Harley and when I went down there while I was on leave from this shit hole to talk to the sale lady I am suppose to deal with she kind blew me :bash: off cause I was asking questions and stuff and not buying a bike thru her she is just the delivery person and it was her lunch hour:chair: ... :notworth: but when I ask over at rentals if I could see on of the dx's they gladly rolled it out for me to sit on and let me ride it around the area for about ten minutes with a escort from the store while he was doing a test ride after service :notworth: .... but the Henderson one is closer to my house and when I was asking about the bike and stuff they brought out a mech from the service area to answer my questions since he knew the most about the v rods and the salesmen knew it so I am just trying to figure out which one I will be better off with the smaller Henderson store or the Las Vegas superstore where I get the bike delivered ( well actually I get the bike delivered to the house since I will still be here and my wife will sign for it )

The dealerships were once owened by the same company. They are seperate now but do have close ties. I get good service from both of them, but belive that the dealership on Eastern has the best V-Rod tech in southern Nevada. You can't go wrong with either one of them. Sorry I can't help any more than that.

Does your wife know exactly what she is looking at when the bike will be delivered? No offense to your wife, but the bike needs to be looked over from top to bottom before signing off on it. Also your warranty starts from the day you sign off on it. When I picked mine up, they had forgotten to put the lower chrome belt guardon along with a few other small details. If I hadn't done a once over, then it's just your word against theres. I know"tHE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" IS THE MOTTO. That's total BS. Once that bike leaves thier hands it's all on you. just my:2cents: Good Luck. And thanks for your service. keep that head down!

My warranty does not start on the bike as long as i am still deployed out here that is the way aafes has it set up .. does any one have a list of things my wife should look for when she picks up the bike or does any one in las vegas area want to meet her at the dealership and go over the bike with her ... She has her uncle jimmy a "airhead" harley rider for the last 45 years maybe i can get him to go woth her but he does not know about the v rods at all .. but he does like them and want to ride my bike when i get it

Back in 2005 I had Henderson Harley replace the rear tire on my Heritage while I was out west on a long trip. I was pleased that they fit me into their schedule (being on the road) and even bought a t-shirt during the wait.

When I as a mere 50 miles away from the dealership, the bead broke loose on the new tire while doing about 70mph down a two-lane. The lateral forces from the sudden deflation were strong enough to break five of the burly Buchanan stainless steel spokes on the rim and bent the rim itself all to hell.

So there I am in the middle of the desert after on a Sunday evening but I have cell service so I get a tow to the nearest city: Kingman, Arizona. Monday morning I call Henderson and they barely acknowledge that I exist. No apology. No acceptance of responsibility. Not the slightest effort to stand behind their work. No offer to help with the expense a replacement wheel, even after the service manager at the dealer in Kingman called on my behalf to tell them point blank that they screwed the pooch.

I would ride down to Kingman, AZ and visit Mother Road H-D and spend your money at a dealership that cares as much about the customer as they do the almightly dollar.

Oh, and that Henderson Harley t-shirt that I bought? I use it to clean up the mess when the dog pukes.

<shrug> My two cents,

Ghost

my bike came from there but I have not had to go back there for anything
the henderson store doesn't honor gift cetificates bought from the other two stores. I usually go to the red rock store or eastern myself but I rarely need mechanical help on any of my stuff. oh yeah I retired @ nellis good luck hope the deployment is going well..

The Hendersen dealer would not look up parts I needed for my VRSCR, another time they looked up something and told me to spend 69.95, both times I used this as a reason to go to Kingman where I bought my Street Rod.
The parts were in Harleys' catalog and were less then 10 dollars. now because of a bike crash I might be in the market for a new bike, I will not even if its a must have bike go to Hendersen Harley Davidson to spend my cash.
