Headlight

Has anyone tried to use the main beam headlight i.e. the one that, if you switch it on, also turns on the blue indicator in the clamshell?

I tried it yesterday on an unlit road and the glare from the blue light was so bright it meant my vision was impaired rather than improved. I switched it off - the dipped beam was much better.

Has anyone else found this?

Maybe I have an extra-bright blue light. It was like having the light on inside the car.

I suspect my low beam is a bit high - I've noticed a few car drivers in front of me shield their eyes. I'll lower it now I know how.
I agree the low beam is much brighter than any other bike I've had so I don't think I'll need the high beam much but I will cover the blue light just in case.
