high my high beam went out the other day an i went to change the buld and noticed the wire was cut right at the plug there is nothing sticking out to connect it back any one have a link where i can buy a new H9 headlight plug for my 2002 vrod?

You should be able to take the metal socket out the connector so that can be reused. but that connector gets pretty hot so soldering maybe not holding.

Parts manual says 72450-01 for the grey housing and terminal sockets 72527-01

My experience with terminal sockets suggests it is best to replace with a new socket. When soldering a wire to an already crimped terminal socket often results in a poor fit back into the connector housing. If ordering new terminal sockets, its a good idea to order a few extras as they don't always crimp as nicely as you would hope. Of course that is probably due to me using the crimping tool that I have which is a bit too big for the HD sockets. One of these days I need to buy the right size crimping tool :)
