I have through over bags on my 02 A model but want something better that has descent capacity.
My buddy has an Dyna T Sport with expandable nylon bags on it. They look like they may work .
Has anyone seen or tried fitting Dyna bags on their Vrod ?

I am pretty sure you would have the same issue with the dyna bags as you would with any of the Harley bags, the shock angles are incorrect, the stock pipes are too high, and the cost is outrageous, Other then that throw enough $$$ at anything and you can make it work.

I should add that I have a 2 into 1 supertrap on the bike already , so clearance should be fine and Realize that the shock angles are different.

I think that would be a great idea to give a try, You would need to make a strut support for the quick detach part of the saddle bags, something that would be similar to the HD saddle bag mounts, and I forget but if the back side of the bags are molded plastic you can reshape it to fit the shocks easier than you can a fiberglass system. Just heat and press. They are defiantly a larger bag than anything HD has to offer to fit. One thing you can also try is seeing how far back you have to move the bags until they fit with out worrying about the shocks.

he should get the part number to the bags he wants to install then check out the parts list to see how the brackets are mounted on the Dyna and if they can be used on the V....

if not you have some good ideas to make it fit...
