I bought an amp and that's where I put it. Velcro it down!

its really your only option other than on top of the battery on your model VROD

 

What about near the top of the down tubes in front.
That way it will gather some air to keep it cool.

Mine is hidden under my little samcro fairing, but I would use the airbox without it.

 

Never understood stereos on bikes. I can hear music every where else, I like to be alone with my thoughts and the sounds of my bike and surroundings.
