It will depend on the dealership. Some will baulk at any modification to the engine / exhaust, others will let you do almost anything. Have a talk with your dealer first, then if they baulk find one that won't!txharleychic said:Hey guys -
Just got my V-Rod nine days ago... I want my husband to drill out my pipes like you guys are talking about here, but he says it may void the warranty and does not want me to do it. What do you think? I know there is talk of better sounding pipes but I love how "mean" those stock pipes look. Does anyone know if there is a warranty issue?

I GOT A FEW SETS MY SELF FOR SALE!DarinSeng said:Another option is, if you should have any problems during the warranty period, just pick up a used set of stock slipons off of ebay for $50-$100. That is how I am playing the game. If you have a problem, switch back before bringing the bike in for work.
