I'm in the market for a good gps, and with all the choices and prices, which one is right? I only want it for the bike, so need a good mounting bracket as well. Most seem to come with a 12v cable for the car, and I did see on here where someone bought from Radio Shack, or a store like it, a 12v adapter cable with a battery tender cable connector on the other end. Great way to connect to your battery. No big rush, just trying to get some ideas.

I will second the tomtom Rider 2. Designed for bikes. Comes with the mounts and hookups. You can expand the maps. Waterproof, shock proof, blutooth for your phone and comes with the headset. Easy to use. And you can buy the car mount and use it in any vehicle...
