I used an USB memory stick to transfer the data from laptop to computer, as long as you use WinXP or Win2000 this is pure plug&play. Very handy and very cheap too.

Got the software installed today.Took it to a local shop.They had to take the hard drive out,because they couldn't use an external drive because ME doesn't have drivers.$50.

Calling for cold and rain this weekend and next week it'll give me more time to reread the manual a couple more times.
