Not a v-rod, but young Paul Bell getting the sporty ready for the next race. The first time Paul had EVER been on a race track he ran a best time of 12.44 at 107mph with out any mods to the bike. We are looking for some high 10's when he learns what he is doing. Wheelie bars will not be used 'till he learns to ride without them.

What are you planning on doing to knock of two and a half seconds???
Right now the rider is driving this like a street bike, with the addition of a good rear tire, two step launch control and an air shifter times will tumble. The engine is making 103hp at the rear wheel and we now have taken an additional 60 pounds off the bike, so high 10's is a realistic goal, also the rider only weighs 140lbs.

PS-We only need 1.45 seconds off our time to run a 10.99.

What have you done to make 103 at the wheel? and yes I did my math wrong, but still a second and a half is a lot...

Congrats to the new racer, hope he does well developing his skills & stays trim..

If I were his weight, I could cut .4 to .5 off my ET's getting into the 10.75 range with my imputed rear wheel HP of ~122~

Here is a useful tool for projecting trap time & speed.
