Finally get to take my 06 VRSCR home today. Brought her in 8 weeks ago for her 10k, leaving now with a new engine!

uh, what was wrong with the old engine?

congrats on getting the bike back! i know it sucks when they're down for repairs

That's a little more then a 10k service to get a new engine. :)

I just went over 20,000 and no way, would I want another engine. This 05A has been flawless, exceeded all my expectations.

you got it!

At less than 1k my belt shredded. They took off my pulley cover and- just 1 loose bolt kinda holding on the pulley. Guess that stressed the bearing a bit too much. I brought her in for the 10k and it had a little leak on the output shaft seal. Pulled the seal and half-eaten ball bearings went everywhere. pulled the oil pan and saw this:
