I'm thinking of changing the stock mufflers on my 05 VRSCAfor some TAB Turn Outs. Anybody know where I could have the fuel controller installed & set up in the North West. I am in Warrington so I would imagine there must be somewhere within a 30 mile radius of here who could do it, most sports bikes seem to have them.

i suggest you get a dobeck dfo direct from the states and fit it yourself, very easy to setup and there are dozens of threads on here for settings.also if you are changing the cans would be an idea to change the air cleaner filter as well to K & N or similiar as if you are letting more gasses out makes sense to let more air in.should give you up to 8 bhp if set up right.

I have discovered that "Easy Fit" is an oxymoron when connected with anything Vrod. Seriously, you should have seen the struggle I had just getting the back wheel off all because of a wood screw in the tyre. Getting it back on was a 2 man job with lifting equipment. I don't know what I'm doing messing with this kit so I leave it to someone who does, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

well dave you can still get it direct from the states and get someone else to fit.will work out loads cheaper than buying it here.

Sorry mate, just couldn't resist.

If you are interested, i have Gils box i do not used. Donated to me by another forum member, but i have never got round to using it.

There are loads of threads about these. Clear and precise fitting instructions are on one thread, and settings on others. I gather it is a piece of piss to set up.

Want it? PM me and i will happily post to you.

.......and that is coming from the country that invented MacDonalds :moon:

Mmmmmmmmmm, black pudding, kidneys, eggs, bacon, fried bread, maybe some baked beans, and a fried tomato or two.
Oh, and some toast to mop it all up and a milky coffee (I refuse to call it Latte) to wash it down.

The TAB package is very easy to install yourself. If you removed the rear tyre, then this should be no problem. Comes with step by step instructions.

I see the thread has probably been read by everyone around lunch or dinner time............or the side effects of aromatic tobacco starting to kick in...lol!

but to offer my kebab's worth into the pile.................the answer to a fueler lies in support for the install and tune.

If you can do it yourself then any of the boxes, gils/dobeck/fuelpak/sert/powercommander etc etc. will deliver.

If you are like me ....an idiot when it come to all things fuel injected (although I self installed the gils box and it worked ok all be it a bit rich), then i went to a specialist tuner, near where I live, with dyno facilities and got the powercommander installed and a few runs on the rollin road to fine tune.

the dynojet website has a listing of UK motorcycle PC suppliers and tuners.

oh yeh and do as jimlowe says and get a hi-flo airfilter (k&n or screamin eagle) as most of the settings and maps for fueler devices assume this.

Thanks for the tips, I have ordered the TAB turn out mufflers, the Fuel Pack and the K&N filter direct from TAB in the US. They have done me a package deal, which includes shipping, at a very attractive price. The cans are just what I wanted, I saw some on a German Vrod at the H.O.G in Fuengirola and was impressed. Check them out at www.tabperformance.com

If you ordered the Tabs with the fuel controller it would come pre-set for your pipes. If not, If you get the Tab fuel controller(www.tabperformance.com) It would come with instructions with the settings(1-10) and you just choose which one for the type of Tab pipes you're installing. Hope this helps.

McDonald's is actually the creation of a man named Kroc. (Ray, or Roy) He nicked the idea from the Bros. McDonald, who operated an icecream, and burger place. Kroc was a salesman for the company that sold the Bros. restaurant equipment. He saw how efficient their operation was, and decided to set up McDonalds Corp. from there it became as you now know it. I don't know whether or not the original McD's made any money off of the venture. so,I guess one might say Mickey D's is a Kroc......
