I always 'suspected' some additive like grain alcohol in the US feul misleading the meter sinds i not have heard europeans had the problem... (now your not european:D but very nearby) but you are having it too...hmmm. Curious to see what HD came up with.

People!
IT IS NOT THE SENSOR.IT IS A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM IN THE SOFTWARE.

Search everywhere on this forum where I have posted and you will see how to make the 07 and newer bikes gauge work and stay working.

06 and older bikes gauges are easy to make work.Search around.

I got my 07 DX fixed at The Harley Store in Baltimore. Other dealers just changed the sensor and it never worked, but Lee at The Harley Store researched the problem and discovered that along with replacing the sensor you have to calibrate it and now it's working perfectly.

Sorry if I've missed this, but having been casually watching the gas gauge issue for awhile.

Can anyone with an '11 chime in? Any fuel gauge issues on the new models?
