Front ends

Hello all, new to the site. I was thinking of doing another project bike this time for me. Has anyone raked and added a longer front end, maybe a springer to a VRod? If so, can you point me to some pictures? Thinking maybe just a longer front end too.

No but interested to hear what others may have to say...

Personally I think it's completely the wrong bike to make a chopper out of but each to their own. Here's a couple of previous threads on the subject with some pics for you to look at.

IMO, raked out and/or big front wheeled VRODs look like an abortion, and no level of craftsmanship can fix that.

couldn't agree more.
:them:

V-Rods are NOT choppers, and are NOT designed to be choppers-- don't screw up a good thing.

Just my 0.03.

I've done it - and I'm keeping it as is (because I *do* like "unique"), but you better be familiar with choppers and ready for the MAJOR change in handling - because it won't handle like a V-Rod any more.

But it will be a cool chopper! :)
