Hi all...I have a 2003 V-Rod..Great bike Harley outdid themselves this time..I have a question..Does any one else have this problem with there front brakes..My front pads seem to rub on the rotors and make a rubbing sound when ridding..You can hear it more at slower speeds, brakes work fine just anoying thats all...I took it to the dealer and they told me it was normal..( were have I heard that before) They said it was due to the fact that the V-Rod did not have floating rotors....
Just curious if any one else hase this problem..........

It is ok, Just break in your pads slowly and gently. Like the owners manual states.
After a while you will get less of it. Then you will get a louder exhaust and POOF
it is gone !
No , seriously , that is typical of floating rotors and you should break them in properly.
Good luck and enjoy !

When get some noises coming out of those pipes alot of the noises you hear will go away. Then put a full face helmet on and you don't hear anything but exhaust.
It's the floating rotors.Nothing to be alarmed of.
