Hi is it normal to have about 60% lever travel before the front brakes start to bite (when they do they work fine and stop the bike without problem). I have fitted new calipers, EBC pads and DOT 5 brake fluid and pressure bled them. There is no air whatsoever in the system. The old calipers gave the same problem. Is this a master cylinder issue. if so are repair kits available.

It could be the seals.Harley sells a kit.There's a piston and spring in it.Whenever I've rebuilt the brake masters like you have,I've never seen a reason to install a new piston or spring,so if you could locate cups and seals,that's all I'd replace if the piston looks good.

Just checking, but did you make sure all of the pistons are moving. I had a the same problem, but on old calipers. New one they should all be working, but it is good to check.
