I disassembled the front brake master cilinder to inspect and clean a couple weeks ago and surprise surprise the retainer clip has disappeared. Any idea whats the exact name or where to buy one? Dont want to buy the entire part set.

Circlip. Master cylinder 11/16" diameter.
Repair kit # 42862-06B

Looks like a special internal fingered bastard, only available with kit, as I see it.

Yes, thats what I am afraid of. Funny thing, many master cylinders use this kind of retaining ring but nowhere to be found by themselves...

Gotta ask. How did you loose the clip. The pivot clip, that I can see due to size but a 11/16" + unless you are in the desert, snowbank or an uncut lawn, well you know what I mean?

It's been couple weeks with the all the front part disassembled, moved the stuff back and forth from my apartment to the garage where I store the Vrod, can happen to find the ring nor the master cylinder screws.
