Hi, I was hit by a car last night, quite slowly, which has bent my left frame rail as the peg was hit. I have a ‘14 VRSCDX and need part number 47987-12BK, and I read an older thread somewhere saying that older ones (with forward controls) have a different peg mount. Is it still possible to use one if I change the footpeg mount (a solid chunk with a flattened edge on each side.) Will my gear lever still fit that?
It doesn’t look like anywhere sells them, but a few different model used ones are for sale. Or perhaps anyone here knows where I can get the one I want? Thanks
