One of my forks is leaking.I had them coated and put a lowering kit in them.No problem there.I think! It's leaking from the pipe seat bolt. The one in the bottom of the tube.I've taken it off 3 times and checked to see if tight and it;s tight as I can get.My ? is can I wrap teflon tape around to bolt and reinsert it or and other suggestion.I have the washer on that was on the bolt .First thing I checked.REally ticking me off though.Getting lube on my new wheel!!!

The pipe seat bolt should have a washer also. Are you sure it is there? I would get a torque wrench and make sure it is tightened to spec. The issue with teflon tape would be if it comes off the screw it will be in the fork oil.

I can get the new washer from HD? If so I will be getting 3 and replace both just to be safe!
