I've been reading about the different exhausts, on this forum, and think I am interested in the "Force" shorties. I am wondering if I should order the the Force race kit or just buy the exhaust and and then order a pc111? I have the SE pipes and the SE air filter (K&N filter) already on my bike. I love this forum and really appreciate any help. I know that theres many different views on which exhaust is the best, from reading a bunch of the posts, so all information is welcome. I NEED some sound SOON! My freinds yamaha warrior (with samson pipes) just sound SOOOO MUCH BETTER!! IT MAKES ME SICK!!! :barf: Thanks, :helpme:
P.S. This is a link to the Force race kit below.

Soon you won't even hear him. I run Force longs. For looks, clearance, sound, and yes performance they can't be beat. Chopper Steve only got 108h.p. out of the shorts but mine have made much more.

Power comander or not?

Thanks for the replies guys. Does anyone know if I should order the PC111 or buy the kit for the Force pipes? Seems as though many people are using the PC111 but I don't know which set up will work better for these pipes.
Thanks again!!! Ryan..... :vrod:

I agree with Okie. I also have the "shorties". Love the damn things! Look good and sound good! Force didn't have their tuner available when I bought mine so I have a PCIIIr. Don't have any problems but would like to hear your opinion when you get their setup. Get em! :D

Thanks for all the help guys. I just got off the phone with Force and went ahead and ordered the "shorties" along with the Race System. The price on there web sit is WRONG! They have the cost marked at $730 give or take but I got the whole system for $695. They said that it is premapped for there exhaust and air filter so I won't need to do a thing. I'll get it on or around April 29th and I'll let everyone know how It works. I guess I'm the ginny pig but someone has to be!!! Thanks again. Ryan... :sinister:

How are you running with your buddies warrior?
I think my Buddies warrior has me in the low end but as we clime I tend to pull him. The closer to 100mph the faster I walk away. I'm hopeing for an edge in the lower range, with these new pipes. I should have them by Thursday and we are going for a ride on Friday so I should know real soon. He has a real advantage in the twisties. I have more experience ( from track time on my old CBR929) but I've riden his warrior and it seems to turn in quicker. Only makes a difference on the decreasing radius corners ( the 25mph and lower). The v-rod enjoys the longer ( positive camber ) 35mph and above corners. Maybe it's a clearance issue but I need to look into it more. Ryan.... :biker:

Ryan... Just thought you'd like to know that I received dozens of positive comments and questions about my shorties during the Laughlin River Run. Everybody from young custom chopper types to older Road King riders commented on how good they sounded and looked. They turn heads in crowds for sure!

:boobs: :boobs: I know this is a little off text of this message but my buddy has a WARRIOR with BUB pipes, TECHLUSION box and a BARON BIG AIR kit and my stock ROD pulls him all the time. One time he had me by a quarter mile through the twisties( he,s been riding for years this is my second bike) he got his up to 135 and i rolled by him like nothing on a straight. He was even impressed. :thumb:

If anyone out there is interested in testing the "shorties" on their bike I have a loaner set. They came off my bike after my accident last fall. They work fine...just scraped up. Let me know and we'll work out the details. :thumb:

Sorry for the delay gents.! I put the new exhaust and race kit in on last wed. night and hit the road as soon as I finished. I LOVE IT!!! The sound was GREAT (FINALY)!! The race module worked like a charm ( all preset for the bike and pipes). I road until I froze my butt off wed. night and then took off Thursday morning for eastern Oregon. I just got back on Saturday evenning, in time for work that night. So thats what has taken me so long too reply, Sorry. I think my fuel mileage has gotten BETTER! I don't know why but it sure seems to run further than before. I road with my buddy, on the warrior, and YES I have him now between 3-5 grand. He is real impressed with the new sound ( much deeper than his Sampsons ). Thanks for your patients guys and for all your imput. I wouldn't have been able to do it with out you!
