Floorboards on a v rod?

I would like to hear from those that have floorboards on their V Rods. I'm interested in knowing if changing my pegs for floorboards would improve a) aerodynamics of the bike and b) improve my ability to reposition my foot to either shift up or down when going at hight speeds. When I'm going a high speeds I find it kinda difficult to reposition my foot because of the wind resistance. I think floorboards would help, but I wouldn't want the bike aerodynamics to suffer because of them.

Any thoughts, comments?
