OK, OK, I've been leeching as much information as I can suck in for long enough without introducing myself... like some of the other newbies, I don't yet have my V-Rod. Got a healthy down payment and enough for a couple of g's in customizations... it's just those stinkin' re'curring monthly things I gotta worry bout now! But I'm Close! My hat's off to Max and Val and everyone else who makes this forum possible, it's a great site... I just wish I didn't know about it, I would get a lot more work done:)
P.S. Even if I had no interest in V-Rods (yeah, right), I would tune in to teh forum just to listen to Doc and Kaz banter back and forth:rofl3:

KC8ANP thanks for the introducing yourself and welcome to the forum. Just think the advantage you will have over the rest of us that bought early. When the V-Rod first came there was nothing available and we all waisted a lot of money on trial and error stuff to find the information that we have to share today. But we are glad to share that information.

Intended Customizations

Well let start by saying that I'm 35 years old, However... (I think I am going to make Danii a proud man on this one) I plan to turn the bike into somewhat of a "Geezer" machine. I like the idea of a kick-a$$ touring bike!!! Here are some of my intended customizations as they stand today....

Lava Red VRSCA (a part of me likes the Gold/Black, but I'll probably stick with Red - easier to color-match accessory-wise)
Sundowner seat, pylon, backrest, and luggage rack
16GA SE Pipes, air cleaner, and calibration
Touring Shield and Memphis Lowers
Engine Guard with Driving/Fog Lights
V-Mod Saddlebag Supports (and I'll figure which saddlebags later... just can't muster the price of HD's)

That'll probably be it from the get-go... then I'll slowly but surely do things like the grips and pegs, doc's light, mirrors, etc.

Gotta leave something for Birthday's and Christmas'!!!
