First of all, the moral of this little story: Don´t forget your steering lock!

There I was, 2 weeks ago in down town Barcelona (Spain), gets on me Nightrod, bars already pointing in the direction I wanted to go, lets the clutch go and OH NO!!! down she goes.......

First thought: this is gonna be expensive!
Within seconds she was upright again, thanks to a couple of very friendly locals:notworth: they asked me if I was OK, and I said yeah, and thanks for helpin´ me up!

First thing I saw was, in the speedo display it said E L P isn´t that cute!

Then I looked her over and to my surprise, apart from a couple o´ scratches on the right side grip and exhaust heat-shields, nothing happened!! How cool is that! Them little highway pegs on the Nightrod saved the day!

Anyway I´ve learned my lesson, I´m only gonna use that steering lock in places where I´ll notice it before pulling off! `Till now I was used to bikes that had them in the ignition switch integrated.

Damn shook me up though, I felt like a real pratt:hidesbeh:

cheers!

Yeah!
Maybe it would have been better if there were cobblestones, but it was a strange kind of polished granit pavement that just made things worse!
I was mega lucky that I just came away with minor scratches though.

Cheers Guys!
