Hey sorry logantsi I just realized I had a case of Cranial Rectumitis - I want to install the dual system like you did on your bike but I have the mid controls on my R Model so I'll need custom mid pipes to clear the pegs, as your mufflers go right thru my peg area. :( At any rate any problems fitting it to your Nightrod ? They looked awesome on it - did you like the sound ? Thx.

Jay F - I don’t see why not but I can’t say for sure as I have an NRS but they fit fine with the muscle exhaust when I had it on there. I don’t know what Keith from altered states part number is but here’s a link to the kit...

Not a problem streetrod I finally got a set of mids for mine(thanks southern mainiac) and that’s the only reason I took it off. I thought it looked pretty good thanks, as for sound I absolutely loved it. Probably the best street exhaust for a v rod imho. I have a couple of sound clip videos But I’m apparently not savy enough to figure out how to put them in here lol. But if anyone wants them I can email them to ya

logantsi - what's the center to center on your handlebars clamp serrated grip area ? Total width of the clamp area straight tubing from one up turn of the handle bar to the other up turn ? I think they'll work on my R model using no riser - Thx.

Thanks for throwing a tape measure on that - I just measured my old handlebars ( the original '06 VRSCR Bars ) and the measurements look like they'll fit perfect. The older I get the higher my handlebars need to be - I've installed the '07 R bars and I'm happy with those now ( I've got long arms ) but I think when I'm 65 in 4 years I'll need these as my back goes out LOL. :cautious: logantsi - please PM me with what you need to ship these to 32707 and how to pay - (y) Thx.

Will do Ceigenberger they are just about perfect especially when compared to the '06 bars but often when riding I'll cup my hands so only my fingertips are in the middle of the grips and that is about 1 1/2 inch more pullback and 1" higher than the '07 bars. So that's why I think the 2012 standard H-D # 55800027 bars would be best - same 30.5 width, 1.37" more pull back and 1.75" more rise, base width is a half inch wider @ 7.5" so it will clear the instrument cluster handlebar cutouts using the stock R riser the only drawback is knurl center is 3.0" vs 3.5" for '07 bars and VRSCR risers, it may work OK as is or maybe not - a guy could add the missing 1/4' of knurling on each side with a special ground punch but I am hesitant to do that since they're aluminum. In any event I'm going to try the '07 lower bars in the 2012 higher risers first - I'll report back ! Happy 4th !

Warren-
Front - 19x3? 120/70/19 Not 100% on the width of rim
Rear 18x8 I think 240/40/18

RTH- the clutch cover and powdercoating it black was about it besides the brackets and jiffy. I ended up grabbing all the oem stuff new from Ronnies but I’m sure if you took your time, Tracking it all down used wouldn’t be impossible.
